Fantastic Beach Rental! We can't say enough good words about the "Yellow Beach House" & the owners. The home is in a very good location--Close to Santa Cruz Boardwalk and marina as well as old town Capitola. Just a short drive to Monterey and Carmel. It is about 4 houses from a beautiful beach. The home has ocean views from the front decks & porch area. It is modern, very well maintained and was extremely clean and organized. It had all the amenities that you want in an exclusive beach rental including rear & side patio with chimnea & wood. A laundry room and outside shower (with HOT water) were provided. The kitchen was well equipped & had supplies including coffee, spices, all cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Particularly noteworthy is the quality and condition of the bedding and towels-looked and felt new. Quality shower products were also included. The owners were extremely attentive before arrival & were very prompt to answer all questions. They also left a goody basket to welcome us. It does not get better than this!! The owners & home indicate professionalism at every turn. Our total security deposit was returned within a few days of our departure. Thank you to the wonderful owners for a fantastic 4 days in their Yellow Beach House. A return visit is a must for our group.

What a wonderful place to share time with good friends! It rained most of our visit, but that didn't keep us from having a blast enjoying the fireplace in the cozy living room, playing games, and exploring the surrounding area. Dorretta was extraordinarily accommodating and the house was well equipped, clean, and very comfortable. Hopefully we can enjoy the beautiful outside space on our next visit. Thanks.

We had a wonderful time! The weather couldn't have been better (well, a little warmer would have been good, but for February, we're not complaining) and your house was fabulous. It has to be the cleanest vacation rental that I've ever been in! We enjoyed the pumpkin bread and had the wine with dinner on Saturday. I took the lemons home to make lemon bars, and my mom took home the plum spread. I wish we would have found your place earlier. We've been coming down every year to watch my nephew play basketball, but this is his last year at UCSC. But, if I'm ever looking for another place to stay in Santa Cruz, I'll be sure to look you up. Thanks for creating such a fantastic place for us to retreat to for the week! The house is absolutely beautiful, amazing, and very comfortable! It was so relaxing and we felt very much at home during our stay. I don't think a single detail was overlooked as it seemed like every time we thought of something we needed, there it was! The Christmas tree was a great touch, as my wife and I were talking about how we would want to get one, and then we pulled up and saw it lit in the window and were delighted! My oldest daughter and I had a lot of fun at the beach everyday and it was really fascinating to watch it change daily. We'd love to come back and enjoy the home again sometime in the future. We just returned from this lovely beach house. The only things we needed to bring were our clothes, wet suits and boogey boards, everything else was there. Convenient location, so close to the beach. The outdoor shower was the greatest, and saved us from having to worry about tracking sand and water through the house. Didn't ever have a chance to speak with Jim but Doretta was so helpful, kind and accommodating. We will return as soon as we can.
